FEEL LIKE A HOT MESS?

You're in the right place.

I'm a firm believer that our environment affects how we feel. Drowning in clutter leads to chaos in our home, in our bodies, and affects our emotional well being.

Let me help you live your best life. Together we'll organize your home so you feel calmer, less distracted, and more present and productive.

The process may not always be easy, but it'll be worth it. Even if there are a few tears, I promise there will be far more sighs of relief and laughs as we make progress. I know exactly how it feels because I've been where you are!

And if you're thinking your job is too big for me, don't, I love a challenge. A friend once told me she was a "disorganized disaster." I told her, "A disorganized disaster is my playground!"

I'll give you the tools you need to move forward and maintain a healthy, happy mind and home.

Get ready to say goodbye to feeling overwhelmed and say hello to a home you love.

MEET YOUR PERSONAL ORGANIZER

Imagine having more time for the people and activities you love.

The peace of mind that comes from time management and a tidy, organized space are within reach.

I'm Jenny Barnett. Hodgepodge of Helpfulness is my professional organizing business serving residential and commercial clients in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding areas.

In 2019 I completed the Professional Organizer Certificate course from the International Association of Professional Career College.

It is a joy and privilege to give my clients the tools they need to streamline their lives through workshops, organizing services, and decluttering services.

I also offer virtual organization sessions via phone and video which has allowed me to serve clients across the nation.

Professional organizing seemed a natural career change for me. I spent nearly 18 years in human services, where I enjoyed streamlining programs so they were more efficient and effective. I served as a trainer, mentor, speaker, and workshop facilitator, as well.

Switching to a career as a professional organizer allows me to continue doing many of the things I enjoyed in the human services field. And I'm thrilled to be able to spend more time with my daughter now that I own my own organizing business!

I can't wait to help you de-clutter and de-stress your life.
